Big, juicy steaks, sizzling fajitas and racks of scrummy ribs. There’s nothing more us recruiters like than some good grub and when the good grub is free it’s even better!

As part of our monthly “Lunch Club” incentive, six of our Recruitment Consultants, who had put in a world class performance in August, were invited to lunch by the Managing Director on the 2nd of September along with Network House’s Digital Marketing Executive.

Matt Ellis, Laura Cleaver, Simon O’Connor, Dean Abeal, Harry Lynch, Stephen Brandsma and Jennie Everall left work at 14:45, much to their delight, and set off for their treat. Their destination: TGI Fridays on the Hagley Road in Birmingham. Stewart Wilson, also invited to the lunch club, decided to stay in the office to get some work done….now that’s what we call commitment!

Deciding to go the whole hog (so to speak) and order starters and mains, the girls then ordered two (exceedingly) large cocktails whilst the men opted for beers and soft drinks.

After devouring starters which included mozzarella dippers, chicken wings and potato skins the consultants  tucked into humungous main courses and were left feeling absolutely stuffed.

Dinner consumed (inhaled?), the TGIs staff asked if there were any birthdays in the group, to which everyone replied, “Harry’s”. The youngest member of Network House, Harry’s birthday is actually in January, however, recruiters will do anything for a free slice of chocolate cake! Harry was then made to stand on the table whilst the staff sung happy birthday to him. Embarrassing? We’re sure Harry secretly enjoyed the attention.

Overall a great incentive, a brilliant way to spend a Friday afternoon and we’re all very grateful to Matt for the lunch! With any luck the whole office will be invited to the next one!
