H&S Consultant

HSE Recruitment are exclusively working with a medical manufacturer on the recruitment of a Health and Safety consultant, for an intial 3-6 month period. This role will require someone on site in Warwickshire 3 days per week, and sits outside of IR35 (so will be paid via your own Ltd company).

We are looking for a professional contractor who is able to hit the ground running, not only supporting with the day to day HSE needs of a busy manufacturing site, but also with the upcoming ISO audits, as well as writing SOP's etc. It is important that you are able to work closely with the MD, and have extensive and demonstrable experience of reporting into C-suite previously. We are looking for a professional who is able to focus on providing solutions rather than problems, as well as assisting with some strategic oversight of how the Health and Safety role could work for our client in the future. Ideally the candidate will come in and initially complete a gap analysis, and then over the next 3-6 months will work to close those gaps and ensure that our client are compliant and safe. 

You will have NEBOSH Certificate (or equivilant) as a minimum, with extensive experience of contracting and/or consulting roles in manufacturing environments. You will be able to think strategically and work operationally, and will be happy to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in.
