The Role
Working closely with the Supply Manager, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain. This is a key role focused on maintaining a continuous flow of goods from UK-based suppliers and ensuring data accuracy across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Forecasting: Interpret data to calculate stock requirements based on trends, anticipated demand, and lead times.
- Order Management: Raise and process purchase orders via the ERP system, managing the lifecycle from placement to receipt.
- Supplier Liaison: Resolve price and delivery queries and verify order acknowledgments to maintain high service levels.
- Logistics Coordination: Monitor and coordinate UK supplier deliveries and collections to ensure timely arrival at the warehouse.
- Data Integrity: Update and maintain arrival dates and key supply chain data within the ERP system to ensure accurate budgeting and stock visibility.
- Reporting: Produce and circulate weekly stock and supply reports to the sales agency network.
The Ideal Candidate
- Administrative Excellence: A strong, organized administrator with a self-motivated work ethic.
- Numerical Skills: A good level of numeracy with the ability to interpret data and identify commercial trends.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy when managing orders and updating internal systems.
- Agility: The ability to prioritize and manage a busy workload in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
The Benefits
- Remuneration: 26,500 – 28,000 pounds per annum, depending on experience.
- Work-Life Balance: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with an early finish at 2:00 PM every Friday.
